Hakkımızda

1971 yılında Balıkesir Ayvalık’ta doğan Erkan İRİZ, İstanbul Kabataş Erkek Lisesi ve İstanbul Üniversitesi Cerrahpaşa Tıp Fakültesi’nden mezun oldu. Mecburi hizmetini Kastamonu İnebolu’da tamamladıktan sonra, 1996 yılında Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi’nde Kalp ve Damar Cerrahisi alanında uzmanlık eğitimine başladı ve 2001’de uzman oldu. 2002’de Gazi Üniversitesi’ne öğretim görevlisi olarak atandı, 2009’da Doçent, 2014’te Profesör unvanlarını aldı. 2009-2010 yıllarında Texas Heart Institute’ta Surgical Assistant olarak görev yaptı. Evli ve iki çocuk babasıdır.
